This year we are excited about reaching the next generation, the four to fourteens and even beyond to eighteen years. We believe that Africa’s time is now so we need to set ourselves up to Reach, Rescue, Root and Release the NOW generation. We have some good news for you! As the Africa leadership, we would like to serve you better so we are working tirelessly to improve the 4/14 movements on the national and regional levels through the existing and new leaders. There are exciting things happening in your regions when it comes to 4/14.
This year we want to focus on making sure we can connect at a regional level, participate in some national events as we begin to reawaken each other in reaching the next generation. These past two years have been difficult for our young people, being disrupted from school. Some children have not been in school for two years and they are just beginning to return to school, this presents an opportunity for us as the Church.
So, Pastors, Youth and Children workers have a massive opportunity to bring Hope to this generation! We now have the opportunity to reach them at Church and school. However, we need to join efforts so we can reach them together and reach them better! Christ has called us as the global Church to be united, in John 17 we see Christ praying for His disciples and then prays for all believers; that’s you and I — that we may be ONE.
We are a Movement that is passionate about reaching the NOW generation, rescuing and reaching those who are at risk, rooting them in Christ, discipling and releasing them to become the leaders God has called them to be! That’s what we exist to do! This is not an organization, it’s a Movement for all those passionate about this generation.
Why should you be part of the movement?
- Networking: It’s an opportunity to connect with other like-minded people that are reaching the NOW generation.
2. 4/14 Academy: Learn from the 4/14 Academy, our free resource library that will equip you to reach the NOW generation.
3. Training: Participate in training opportunities that prepare you to effectively minister to this generation. Children and youth of today are very different from children and youth of yesterday, we can not do what we did yesterday in reaching this NOW generation. We have to change our methods; we have to change the ways we do it, but the message remains the same.
I know, you are passionate about the NOW generation! Here is what we want to do, we want to ride on your passion and together rescue an entire continent of Africa because the future is in the young people! So, that same prayer that Christ prayed over all believers, we pray this over you this year. That we may be ONE, we may be in Christ and make Him known to the children and youth of Africa, that they may believe the message we preach, knowing that Christ loves them deeply and desires to use them to reach others. In Jesus name — Amen!
