We need to decipher between the negative and positive aspects of the digital world to model effective use of technology to connect children and youth to Christ. Explore ways to help children and youth use and create media to tell stories that are authentic and redemptive.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
We all know we are living in a digital world, with the opportunity to be online in almost everything we do. In this course, Valerie Abreu shares some much needed insight into what it means to be part of a digital generation and contrasts the negative and positive effects the Internet can have on the Children and Youth in our worlds. Cherise Vermeulen, will share ways you can walk alongside a group of children and youth, discipling and mentoring them while teaching them how to use media to create and tell stories that are authentic and redemptive.
